Large Display Fisher of Men Cross

Large Display Cross is made of Brown English Oak Wood from Europe.

 English brown oak is actually lumber from an English white oak that has been killed by mushrooms growing on it.

The mushroom produces an acid that colors the heartwood brown but in the process breaks down the cell structure and kills the tree.

 No stains or sealers just the natural wood.

With real fishing net, the cross sets on a base of Wenge wood from Central Africa.

On each side of the Cross is Fossil Agatized Coral Geode cut and polished. A great white color with Drusy Quartz. Fossil agatized coral is about 25 Million Years Old and from the Miocene Period. Agatized coral occurs when silica in the ocean water hardens, replacing the limy corals with a form of quartz known as chalcedony. This long process (20-30 million years) results in the formation of a “pseudomorph,” meaning that one mineral has replaced another without having lost its original form. 

Each Cross is a unique one of a kind Creation, are created from materials provided by God. Enhanced by the artist Kim – God guides my hands on each piece of wood, making each into a beautiful one of a kind cross.
